Lightbeam Health Announces Strategic Partnership with Quirk Healthcare to Deliver End-to-End Population Health Management Solutions

IRVING, Texas, March 26, 2014 – Lightbeam Health Solutions is pleased to announce a strategic partnership with Quirk Healthcare. Quirk Healthcare will offer the advanced Lightbeam Health platform to its growing number of Health System and Payer clients. The Lightbeam solution will help Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs), insurance payers, health systems, large provider groups, and community access hospitals transition from traditional Fee For Service to Value Based Reimbursement programs.

Quirk Healthcare will also provide strategic consulting and implementation services to physicians and community caregivers. The Lightbeam Health platform is an end-to-end suite of solutions that utilize a proprietary enterprise data warehouse to aggregate real-time clinical and claims data from disparate sources and deliver it to providers at the point of care. The platform offers clinical and financial analytics, in addition to care coordination, patient engagement, and physician engagement tools. Lightbeam will be aligning its solutions and technology foundation on the Dell suite of services and products. With technology migrating to the cloud, and with Lightbeam’s software and infrastructure offered as a consolidated solution, it was critical for Lightbeam to have a technology partner with the depth and investment Dell had made in this area.

“We are very happy to join forces with Quirk Healthcare and offer our solutions to their client base,” said Jerry Shultz, President of Lightbeam Health. “Quirk Healthcare’s comprehensive understanding of the new payment models and consulting services are an ideal match to help us deliver our solutions. We look forward to providing their clients with the solutions necessary to improve care and increase efficiency in an increasingly complex healthcare landscape.”

“The Lightbeam partnership will be a key component in our strategy to make best-practice tools and processes available to the healthcare industry,” said Ben Quirk, CEO of Quirk Healthcare Solutions. “The Lightbeam Health platform will be instrumental in helping our clients migrate from fee-for-service to the new value-based reimbursement model. Having the right data at point of care will enable practices to meet quality measures and improve outcomes for their patient populations.”
