Lightbeam to Debut New Population Health Platform – HIMSS 2014

IRVING, Texas, February 4, 2014 – Lightbeam Health Solutions today announced that it will be demonstrating its new integrated population health platform at the HIMSS conference in Orlando February 24th – 26th. Formed in 2012, Lightbeam Health Solutions has spent the last year building its world-class offering—an advanced, scalable, cloud-based platform that integrates discrete clinical and claims data from a variety of disparate sources making it easy for physicians to act upon the data. The platform is designed for organizations that must proactively care for populations of patients, driving improvements in quality as measured by ACO measures, HEDIS measures and other indicators. The

platform also targets hospital readmissions and cost overruns.

Powered by a comprehensive enterprise data warehouse, the end-to-end Lightbeam platform includes:

  • Care Management
  • Searchlight Risk Stratification tools
  • Physician Engagement ecosystem
  • Real-time Interactive Analytics
  • Patient Engagement tools

Lightbeam Health Solutions was formed by Patrick Cline, the creator of NextGen and former President of NextGen Healthcare Information Systems. His leadership team combines decades of experience in the healthcare, insurance and technology industries. “Our mission at Lightbeam is to bring health data into the light, providing critical guidance to caregivers,” said Pat Cline, CEO of Lightbeam Health Solutions. “By integrating clinical and claims information and delivering the knowledge it creates back to the point of care, we provide accountable care organizations (ACOs), health systems and large provider groups with the ability to fully realize the promise of healthcare automation. Our platform not only makes it easier for them to deliver high quality patient care, but also stratifies and predicts risk and can help reduce the cost of delivering that care.”

The Lightbeam team has developed a number of patent-pending solutions as part of its platform, including functions that drive quality improvement by engaging physicians at the point of care. Other unique features are embedded within the company’s interactive analytics module. The company began taking its platform to market late last year and has established traction in the marketplace, with several key clients already under contract and more on the horizon.

For a live demonstration of the Lightbeam platform, please visit booth #4217 at the HIMSS14 annual conference and exhibition from February 24-26 in Orlando, Florida.
