More than 200 physicians serving 200,000 lives will use Lightbeam to improve patient care while reducing costs in Medicare programs
IRVING, Texas – April 25, 2017 – Furthering its commitment to provide innovative care across the Columbia, Tennessee area, Maury Regional Health has deployed key population health management solutions from Lightbeam Health Solutions. Through the use of Lightbeam’s data warehouse, analytics, patient engagement, care management, and quality reporting modules, over 200 physicians will be positioned to achieve goals relative to new value-based programs.
As a newly registered Accountable Care Organization (ACO), Maury Regional Health Network, LLC must demonstrate shared savings and quality benchmarks as mandated through the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). With a number of ACOs having already generated significant savings and higher quality scores by using Lightbeam’s platform, Maury Regional Health executives felt confident that technology solutions from Lightbeam were the right tools to kick off their ACO journey.
“Building on our promise to provide compassionate and skilled care to all of our patients, we selected Lightbeam’s proven solutions to increase coordination across all of our care management teams, especially to those who treat high-risk patients with multiple chronic conditions through different providers,” said Jill Gaddes, Director of Population Health, Maury Regional Health. “By furthering collaboration across care teams and providing tools to increase patient engagement, we see great potential to not only improve the lives of our patients through enhanced care, but to lower unnecessary costs.”
“Already known for delivering excellent care, Maury Regional Health Network, LLC shares our dedication to implement programs that facilitate collaboration and engagement across provider teams and patients, and we’re proud to support them in their new ACO efforts,” said Pat Cline, CEO of Lightbeam. “We’re excited to have them as part of the Lightbeam family and look forward to working together to enhance the quality of life for their patients while achieving superior results with their new ACO.”
Understanding Maury Regional Health’s need to have this technology deployed as soon as possible, Lightbeam implemented the initial modules in less than 90 days, allowing the health system to immediately begin the collection of necessary data to meet ACO benchmarks for the current year.
