In performance year (PY) 2022, Lightbeam’s ACO clients managed care for 1.1 million patients and generated savings of over half a billion, constituting 12% of all generated savings
DALLAS – September 20, 2023 – Today Lightbeam Health Solutions, the leader in population health analytics and value-based care enablement technology and solutions, is pleased to announce MSSP Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) using Lightbeam’s technology and services generated a combined $509M in total savings, and achieved $290M in total earned savings, representing 11% of all earned savings, according to the 2022 Performance Year (PY) Financial and Quality Results data released by CMS.
Lightbeam’s technology and Advisory Services are a true catalyst for success, aiding clients with cutting-edge strategies to improve performance. Lightbeam clients actively engaged with Advisory Services generated an average PMPY savings of $513, which is 30% higher than ACOs not using Lightbeam. Those same ACO client-partners also saw quality scores 1.6% higher than ACOs not using Lightbeam.

In PY 2022, a standout for Lightbeam was the impact of its Deviceless Remote Patient Monitoring® (RPM) solution, CareSignal. MSSP ACOs leveraging Lightbeam’s Deviceless RPM achieved $348 per beneficiary in earned savings, higher than the average for all ACOs at $242 in earned savings per beneficiary. Clients-partners using Deviceless RPM also achieved quality scores that were 3.1% higher than non-Lightbeam ACOs.
